27 weeks!!!... tomorrow

Tomorrow we will be 27 weeks! Yay!!! I know that some people have said that time is flying by, but to me it feels like its crawling by. Things are going pretty good so far. I am still sleeping on the couch, because I hate our bed! And the fact the dogs sleep in it too doesn't leave much room for all of us.

I started having leg cramps this week on Thursday night. They were so bad, I woke up and wanted to scream out loud! I probably would have but didn't want to deal with the dogs. It hurt so bad that for the last three days, I haven't been able to walk on my legs without them hurting. But, its part of the job, right?

The doctor said this week at my check up that I am measuring 28 weeks.... not too big and not too small. That's good. I have this silly feeling that this is gonna be a big boy, but we will wait 4 weeks until the next ultrasound to see how he is measuring. So far, I have only gained 6 pounds! I think this is crazy. I fel as big as a house, and I am starting to look like it too. I eat ALL the time. That's why I think he is gonna be big! Where else is all this food going?

Peanut is moving around alot now. I can see my shirt moving around alot and the boys and Josh have gotten to feel him kick already. He isn't a big fan of the bath tub still, so we are still working on that. We are also gonna have to work on this whole 2 am kicking party that he has every night. Without fail, I have to get up at 2 am every night, go to the bathroom and wait for him to go back to sleep before I can sleep. But, at least he seems to be on a schedule already, right?

It's Spring Break this week and I wish I could say that I am relaxed, but I am not. Work sucks right now, even worse than it did weeks ago when I wrote that it sucked. It's terrible. At this point, if I didn't need insurance, I think I would turn in my resignation! It's so stressful that I actually asked my doctor about going back on my prozac. She said it was ok, but I am still debating it. I know the doctor said it was fine, but I have done so good without ANY meds, even when I had the flu! So, I will make a decision about that this week. I wish I could find another job right now.

The stuff for the nursery should have been shipped this week and when it arrives, I will go pick out which shade of green we will be putting in the nursery. I got the decals for the wall and I am all ready to paint..... except for getting all of Austin and Kaleb's things out. We got storage cubbies for their stuff and we are refinishing those now. Once they get done, I will start moving things over in their room. I am hoping to get this done in the next 2 weeks.

Off to enjoy the wonderful thiunderstorms and tornado warnings now.

Starting to get ready.....

So I have started getting things in for the nursery and I am getting very excited! We got the rug in and the nursery baskets that match our pattern. My mom bought all the crib bedding and now I am waiting on that to get here. Once that is here, I will go pick out a paint color!!! I also got the decals this week that will go on the wall after we paint.

Before we can start painting the nursery, we have to take all of Austin and Kaleb's toys out of there. I have been looking for some storage for their room to put all of their things in. This week I found some storage cubbies on craigslist. Someone bought them at an auction from Rockingham County Schools. They are great cubbies and just need to be cleaned up a little. Hopefully we will have one ready to go in their room by tomorrow and can start moving things in.

Peanut is moving around alot lately. He doesn't like it when I take a hot bath, so we will have to talk about that. I really enjoy soaking in the tub. :-) I go in 2 weeks for my glucose test. Hopefully everything will be normal there. I start rotating through all the doctors this visit. It will be nice to meet everyone else in the practice. I really like my doctor's office and so far everyone who works there.

Josh and I have been looking for new bedroom furniture this week. Josh has had the set we have now since he was in high school and it is time for a change. We are upgrading to a king size bed (FINALLY). Between the two of us and both dogs, we need more room! I can't wait because I have been sleeping on the couch alot lately because the bed just isn't comfortable anymore.

One day I'll take some pictures and upload them. Until then.....

Prenatal Massage!

For Christmas, Josh got me 2 prenatal massages from Balance Day Spa. After rescheduling twice already, I FINALLY got to go tonight!! It was amazing. If you are pregnant, or will be soon, you should go get a prenatal massage. It was great. They had this awesome pillow and I got to lay on my stomach, which I haven't been able to do in forever. It was very relaxing and I can't wait to go back for the next one. Maybe someone will buy me another one for my birthday!

A Blog for Carey and her Mom!

I have to make a special blog post for two ladies who are angels in my book! A couple months ago, right after I found out I was pregnant, I also found out that some things I had in someone else's storage unit got auctioned off without my knowledge. Among those things was a big scrapbook bag I had, including all of Austin and Kaleb's baby pictures. I was devastated. I cried for days. I called the storage company who contacted the person who bought the unit items and said that all they could do was contact them and give them my information. I had not heard anything and thought that I would never see those pictures again.
I just knew that I was going to have all these pictures of the new baby and nothing to show for Austin and Kaleb. Week before last, I got a random friend request on facebook. Then a message from the same person. She said that her mom had bought some stuff at a yard sale and she believed that she had my pictures. She said that the boys were Austin and Kaleb and their mom was April Russ and went to UNCG. I immediately started crying. I couldn't even finish reading the message before I started replying to her. Not only did they have my pictures, they had also saved the pages out of the scrapbooks that I had already started. I met Carey's mom last week and she returned my pictures to me. The two of them will never know how much it meant to me that total strangers decided to look for me to give me my pictures back. I sat at home that night for hours just looking through the pictures and crying. There was one picture in there that could never be replaced. It was a picture of Austin, myself, my mom, my grandma and my great grandmother. My great grandmother has since passed away and that is the only picture we have of the five generations of my family.
I want to say Thank You to Carey and her mom for being good people. They could have just thrown those pictures away, but took the time to search for me and meet me and give me back my memories that I thought I may never get back.
